Happy New Year!

I know, I know, it's time to make resolutions, but we all know that resolutions at best last one month. The definition of resolution is a firm decision to do or not to do something. That seems too restricting, sometimes things happen in life as we all know from 2020 and 2021.
I prefer to set goals. The definition of goal is the object of a person's ambition or effort; an aim or desired result. I feel as though a goal can cover a longer period of time with some wiggle room. You could add the first part of the word resolution - resolute which means admirably purposeful, determined, and unwavering to your goal.
So this New Year I plan to have a Resolute Goal that has a flexible time table to work on all the things I need to, I will get it done but if it rolls over year after year so be it. It takes time to get things finished and finished satisfactorily.
So I say set goals and have fun with the goals you set, things will get finished in time, remember life is like a road if you want to get somewhere you have to stay the path there will be crashes, delays, distrations (plesant and not so pleasent), there might even be a slight detour. If you stay resolute in your goal you will get to the end of the road in time and hopefully you will have a wonderful trip with lots of adventures, joy and maybe you will even learn a little on the way.
Have a Wonderful New Year!
Monica
